Hi there,
You’re right that the Smart Token price is less elastic to demand, this is a feature, not a bug. When the smart contract calculates a price that is different than what is available on exchanges, this opens an opportunity for arbitrageurs that will eventually balance the prices (by buying where its cheaper and selling where its more expensive.) Today, not everyone is yet aware that BNT is available directly from its contract, often at a more attractive price than elsewhere. In the future, the benefits of automated conversion will become more apparent and widely known and we anticipate the time to align them will shrink.
